CAI is looking for four innovative and engaging individuals to work with rural teacher training.
Duties include: 1. Working with designated rural schools and teachers from various academic subjects; 2. Assessing teachers’ training needs and adapting current training materials; 3. Attending preparation meetings with other TTTs to map out plans and developing training materials; 4. Training teachers on curriculum development, innovative teaching methods, student motivation and leading workshops on specific topic areas; 5. Monitoring, assessing and evaluating utility of training session for participants of training sessions; 6. Providing follow-up support to participants. Preferred skills and knowledge: * Strong communication skills, written and presentation * Experience in teaching or working with youths * Leadership skills * Bilingual – Mandarin, English * Enthusiastic and outgoing * IT skills * Patient and outgoing
Qualifications: Eligible candidates include adults over 21 years old with past experience in teacher training or as an educator. We ask that candidates have a bachelor degree or higher in education or related studies. CAI may request references to be provided.
